Spokane Wedding at The Boxcar Room
When choosing your wedding venue, it is important that you choose one that reflects you and your spouse’s personalities. This Spokane wedding at The Boxcar Room took place in the summer, but had the most stunning autumnal themes. Tate and Bailey both envisioned a wedding that truly reflected both of them, and they hit it out of the park.
The bridal suite at The Boxcar Room is unique and spacious for all of your wedding party to get ready together. This space offers multiple vanity counters and even a large golden mirror for a full view of your dress. The bridal suite is also complete with comfortable lounge furniture and stunning chandelier for optimal lighting.
I am a huge advocate for my couples to have a first look on their wedding day. If you choose to include one, you get to see your future spouse earlier in the day, you can include formal photos before the ceremony to be able to spend more time with your guests at the reception, and it helps to alleviate some of those pre-wedding jitters! That’s a win-win-win.
The Boxcar Room offers a lot of soft lights within the venue, along with some excellent window lighting. I used this to my advantage when taking detail photos.
The Boxcar Room has both indoor and outdoor spaces for wedding portraits. It was so much fun to be able to work with different lighting throughout the day and create unique photos based on the space.
The Boxcar Room is complete with a beautiful long-counter bar that your guests can enjoy. The lighting along this space is dark and moody, which is exactly what Tate and Bailey loved about it.
There are a few spots to take large group photos at The Boxcar Room as well. Tate and Bailey opted for this really cool colored brick on the side of the building as the background for their group portraits.
One of the best things that The Boxcar Room includes is their many twinkling lights among the brick wall. This was the perfect setting for Bailey to walk down the aisle to Turning Page by Sleeping At Last.
One of the best parts of any wedding day are all the hugs exchanged between friends and family after the ceremony is complete, and Tate and Bailey’s wedding was no exception.
During the reception, Tate and Bailey had some really fun dances not only with each other, but with their parents too.
Tate and Bailey had the most gorgeous custom cake, made with love by Cakes by Yours Truly, all the way from the Seattle area. Just look at all the detail that went into it! You can tell that both of them approved of the taste too. 😉
My favorite weddings are weddings with full dance floors! I love getting to capture memories like these, ones you’ll never forget and can relive through photographs over and over again.
Tate and Bailey were able to sneak away from the reception for a few moments for just the two of them. My favorite way to end a wedding day is letting the bride and groom have some time alone to just be together and soak it all in.
