Hey, I'm Morgan!

Your Wedding Photographer + Professional Third Wheel

Why I Chose Photography

Have you ever opened up someone's wedding album with them right next to you, and saw their eyes light up?

Have you ever walked into someone's house and seen their photos printed on their walls that they're excited to talk about?

What about when you see photos of your loved ones - your parent's or your grandparent's wedding? Those photographs are the ultimate time capsule.

I have many fond memories of my own, sitting with my family and friends and looking through their own wedding photos, and getting to hear stories and relive their best day ever.

Because of photography, a moment in time doesn't just live in someone's memory, it lives on forever.

I'm a big believer in investing in your memories.
Because your memories are what really matter.

Curious About My Photography Journey?

When I was 12 years old, I started to take a real interest in photography. I loved taking photos of my friends and playing around with my mom's old digital cameras (she worked at a camera shop before I was even born). I spent a lot of time looking through old family photos, and would also stop and look at photos on the walls of my friend's houses when I'd hang out with them.

As I got into high school, I was finally able to take a photography class, which taught me... nothing (lol). Thankfully, I was also in AP drawing at the time, and my drawing teacher noticed my interest in photography. She let me borrow her little amateur digital camera and told me to take photos of anything that intrigued me. A lot of the photos I took then were of flowers, people, and my cat at the time. I ended up doing a couple drawing projects based on my own photographs that I took.

My last two years of high school were spent at one of the local community colleges taking their photography program. I was able to learn film and studio, and came to the realization that I loved photographing people more than anything else.

I got my business license before I graduated, and was able to take a lot of my friend's senior photos while I was still in high school. Once I graduated, I kept taking photos of seniors and families and learning more about the art I had decided I wanted to pursue.

In 2017, I had the opportunity to photograph my first wedding, and fell in love. I knew from that moment on that I didn't want to do anything else. The connection between two people in love mesmerized me and I was determined to make it my life's work.

Since then, I have been capturing couple's dream weddings and making sure that their memories live on forever.

I am so grateful to be able to do the work that I do, and put my whole heart into every love story in front of my camera.

When I'm not photographing weddings I'm...

at a concert somewhere with my friends

Going to concerts is my favorite thing ever. So far, I've been to 21 (and counting) since I was 15 years old.

My music taste is mostly tailored to alternative, but I've really gotten into k-pop within the last few months!

My favorite groups are The 1975 and Seventeen.

When I'm not photographing weddings I'm...

doing something nerdy

I embrace the term "nerd" like a badge of honor.

I've loved reading and video games since I was a kid, and anime has become a huge part of my life in adulthood.

Be sure to tell me your favorite books, shows, and games, I love talking with other nerds about them!

When I'm not photographing weddings I'm...

hanging out with my cats

I have 3 kitties and they are my favorite little creatures.

Mac is my orange boy, and I genuinely don't think you'll come across a sweeter cat than him. He is so friendly with everyone and purrs like nobody's business.

Winston is my sleek void boy (named after Winston from New Girl) and he is equal parts cuddle bug and wanted criminal.

Yuki is the youngest and my only girl (named after Yuki from Fruits Basket because they look like twins). She is quite talkative and loves to chirp at you. She also loves to sleep under blankets constantly.

When I'm not photographing weddings I'm...

planning trips and seeing the sights

I am a big homebody, but the urge to travel constantly pricks at my mind.

I love seeing new places, and am always dreaming about the next place I can explore (while photographing everything of course).

My favorite place to visit regularly is the Oregon Coast, and my top bucket list location is London, England. Hopefully I can make it there within the next couple years. Anyone planning a wedding in London?? ;)
